I love the pictures. I’m taking off in a couple of weeks to see the lake in person for the first time. the water looks nice and cold but at least it’s clear unlike where I’m from… Georgia. And thank goodness for no alligators! I was looking to stay at the Pistante’s coyote den in South Lake Tahoe. Any idea if that is a good location for getting around and seeing the lake/mountains?
I don’t know the hotel you refer too but from a location perspective its fine. There is more going on in So. Lake Tahoe and this hotel is situated at the quieter end and further away from the CA and Nevada state-line casinos (if that makes a difference). Assuming you have transport, you will be fine for exploring Tahoe. There are 72-miles of road around the Lake (physically the Lake is 22-miles by 12-miles) and there are many different locations to stop and reflect on the scenery as well as numerous hikes to enjoy. Glad you like the photos, Tahoe is an awesome place ….. as you will discover.
