Tahoe Colors

What a glorious way to start May! On a beautiful sunny day in Tahoe I captured this photo which represents the amazing colors of Tahoe. 

From the clear green water and mostly sandy lake bed, up through the changing shade of lake blues, to the sparkling white snow covered mountains. And finally, the tinted mountain skyline and the blue sky and occasional cloud. 

A pallet of layered colors, what a peaceful and beautiful scene. 

Tahoe Rocks

I thought this was a fun and different photo to capture. Someone had used a selection of rocks to spell out ‘Tahoe Rocks’ on the shallow lake bed near the shore.  

If you scan the photo from the bottom you could almost imagine the lower part being from some Caribbean beach but, as you scan further up and see the snow-covered mountains you realize ……. it must be Tahoe!
